VetDesk Terms of Service
Effective date: August 22, 2026
Using VetDesk
VetDesk provides an AI receptionist service to veterinary hospitals: answering calls, routing emergencies to a person, and scheduling routine appointments. These terms cover this website and the SMS messaging program described below. The site and service are provided as-is, without warranties beyond what the law requires, and VetDesk is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or service, to the fullest extent the law allows.
SMS program terms
Program description
When you book or confirm an appointment with a veterinary hospital that uses VetDesk, the hospital may send you transactional text messages through VetDesk — appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates, veterinary-care follow-ups, and other requested service-related veterinary communications. This program does not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Consent
Consent to receive these messages is obtained separately when you provide your mobile number during a call or booking with the hospital. Hospital staff or the VetDesk AI assistant will ask whether you agree to receive text messages. SMS messages are sent only after you affirmatively agree. Providing a mobile number alone does not constitute consent to receive SMS messages. SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing or receiving veterinary goods or services. You can revoke your consent at any time by replying STOP.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-out and help
Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive no further SMS messages from this program after opting out. Reply START to resubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or contact hello@vetdesk.ai.
Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and delivery are subject to the capabilities and coverage of your mobile carrier.
See the Privacy Policy for how phone numbers and consent data are used and protected, including the SMS program's data-use section.
