What VetDesk is

VetDesk is an AI receptionist for veterinary hospitals. Hospitals use VetDesk to answer calls, handle routine scheduling, and send appointment-related text messages to their own clients. This policy explains what information VetDesk collects through this website and through the SMS messaging program described below, and how that information is used.

What this website collects

This marketing website does not run advertising trackers or behavioral analytics. It generates only the standard hosting logs a web server produces by default (things like IP address, browser type, and page requested), kept for security and reliability, not for marketing. If you email us, we keep that correspondence to respond to you. VetDesk does not sell or rent personal information.

SMS messaging program — what data it uses

When a veterinary hospital uses VetDesk to send appointment confirmations, reminders, scheduling updates, veterinary-care follow-ups, and other requested service-related veterinary communications to its clients by text message, the SMS program uses:

the mobile phone number the client gave the hospital;
the client's consent state — whether they opted in, and whether they have since opted out; and
the minimum appointment context needed to write the message, such as the appointment time and the hospital's name.

This information is used only to deliver the service messages described in the SMS program terms. It is never used to build an advertising profile and never sold.

No sharing for marketing purposes

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile phone numbers and text-messaging consent and opt-in data are not shared, sold, rented, or provided to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers that VetDesk uses to operate the service — such as communications and hosting infrastructure vendors — may process this information solely to provide VetDesk's services (for example, the SMS carrier or messaging provider that transmits a message). No other sharing of this data — for marketing, advertising, data brokerage, or affiliate promotion — occurs.
